- and now you know!

I’ve been spending a lot of time on the social news site Digg.com recently. I have been registered there since the beginning but I never really started submitting stories until I dugg an article about the ratio of users who contribute to the site. After that I was prompted to actively participate, submitting the random little things I find hiding in the dark dungeons of internet. A flaw I’ve noticed is the inability to delete something you submit. Ever been in a hurry on a forum or writing an e-mail and you paste in the wrong link without realizing? Well usually that is only seen by a few people but when you post a bad link on digg.com – a website with thousands of users you want to shoot yourself in the foot. You instantly get flamed by 15 year olds telling you how much of a n00b you are. Wow, uhh – I’m human I mistakes… you sure pwn3d me? Well, regardless of being harassed by little kids who probably can’t spell their own names without using internet short hand now a days – I see this as a functionality issue. Users should be able to delete their own submissions. So if you’re reading this Kevin Rose you should have this feature implemented.
