MUDs are something that a lot of the &quot;WoW crowd&quot; just don&#039;t seem to get, which is a real shame. There&#039;s something about it that has an appeal that just can&#039;t be recreated by graphical MMORPGs. The theater of the mind is a powerful thing, coupled with the smaller communities MUDs provide gives the player the perfect setting to build a relationship with other people but the game itself. In WoW, that kobold looks one distinct way that some artist envisioned. In RoS, it&#039;s *your* kobold.

I&#039;m glad you brought it back. I&#039;ve been through the MMO scene for a while now and, to be honest, that new shininess is long worn off, so I&#039;m looking forward to stepping back into the roots of it and checking out what you&#039;ve built. You always been the most creative person I know (and skilled as hell to back it all up) and I think this kind of design is perfect for you.
