- and now you know!

I’ve been giving a lot of thought to weird things lately and I figured I’d share my thoughts.

All known ailments to man will be cured via nano technology: My thoughts here are, that with our current rate of advancement with technology; in just a few more decades we will have advanced computers that are so small they we will be able to scale them to the size of a white blood cell which can be pre-programmed to augment the immune system and also detect and destroy cancers as well as even reversing the affects of AIDS and HIV.

Space travel will be possible: When we realize that the object does not need to be propelled through space, yet space needs to be moved around the object.  I believe space time is something that can be manipulated, but our current technologies and scientific theories haven’t quite nailed it down yet.  Think of it like this, you have a coin on a piece of paper with the letter A written on one side and B on the other side.  You can use some sort of force to push the coin from A to B, or you could simply move the paper quickly while the object remains stationary, much like a magician removes a table cloth from underneath the table settings.

Parallel dimensions could be accessible: Energy is visible by observing different frequencies.  I have read elsewhere that each human has their own distinct frequency, if this is true then consider the universe to be a giant radio and each person being a station.  It would theoretically be possible to alter the frequencies to change ones current perception of their own reality.  If every choice you have ever made exists in some multiple world, which could very well be running simultaneously as the one we currently perceive – a change in ones energy could unlock different “worlds”, the key question in my mind is would one remember the previous “world” or would they immediately become a product of their new perception?  Is this naturally occurring way of the universe that we are unable to perceive?

Time travel forward is theoretically possible: Person A remains on earth whilst Person B is blasted into space travelling at the speed of light.  Time is relative, so Person A could have experienced 20 years while Person B will have only perceived a few minutes.  When Person B returns to Earth after travelling at the speed of light for some time, they would find that many years had passed in what had been for them perhaps a few hours.  Going backward in time would probably not be possible though there is little to nothing known about black holes.  If a black hole is a rip in space time, then if one were able to withstand the journey it is possible that going through one could possibly send a person back to an earlier point in space time.

Just some things I have been pondering, not your typically every day thoughts.

I’m writing this to warn pet owners in and around Marysville not to use this vet.  They do not see your animal as part of your family but rather, a pile of money with a tail.

My dog recently contracted parvovirus and was very ill and near death.  They provided a very expensive quote to hospitalize her and was not willing to work out any type of payment plan – demanding payment in full then on the spot if we hospitalized her.  Due to personal reasons I did not have the money readily available and could not afford it.  Our second option (the one we took) – was home care, which was grossly inadequate.  For 3 days I gave my brave puppy an IV of fluids and 2 shots per IV, her condition continued to get worse to the point where she was near death.  Grief stricken, we decided to do the only humane thing for our angel of a puppy and have her put to sleep.  This is where the predator jumped in and decided it was their opportunity to make profit.  As my wife and I were crying over losing our puppy they presented us with a “solution” – a staff member would adopt her and provide her treatment.  This was all the information I had, and being very upset for my dog I signed their paper.  They took this paper as free reign to “help” our dog, by giving her treatment that should have been given to us the first time when we took her home – and then when she was better, the adopter turned around and is now in the process of selling her.  We never were told that this would happen and we also were promised they would keep in touch with us to let us know what was going on.  When I tried to confront them they immediately claimed my wife and I were harassing them.  They are not willing to sell our dog back or return her because it is somehow our fault she contracted this virus, when we bought her we were told she had her vaccinations.  The week she contracted parvo was the week she was supposed to get her next shot.  They also said that because we wanted to put her down we were not a good home.  We only thought about that after days of trying to cure our dog with their inferior medicines they provided us and watching our dog continue to lose weight and get weaker and sicker.  When we called to ask about putting her to sleep they said they were willing to do it because she was very sick.  We paid $150,00 for it, which they also took from us without returning.

This vet is a nightmare!  Please, do not go there – for your pet’s sake, and your peace of mind and your financial state.  They absolutely do not care about your pet.

I am currently working on filing a case against them with a lawyer but am letting all residents know about this to prevent themselves from this same grief.

Be well pet owners.

New Media / Revision3 / People from Ryan Kenward on Vimeo.

Now, first of all – I am completely understanding of the current economic slump but its entirely too easy to point the blame at that being the cause of poor business strategy. Rev3 never should have become that reliant on corporate sponsor’s cash in the first place.

Defend that statement you probably are thinking —- Well okay here’s a few points to defend it.

—What really went wrong
1.) Inflated spending on show production.
I can’t really give an accurate estimate on how much money Rev3 spends on creating each episode of (Insert Show Here) – but I imagine it’s wayyyy too much. Let’s look at how this all began, the broken. Was that a super expensive uber corporate looking “would-be TV show”? No, and that was a lot of its appeal. The reason that the whole IP TV had any real potential at all was the same reason Cable TV did when it first came out, freedom! The ability to be creative and do whatever one wants without being stifled by ‘the man’ – now look what it’s becoming. These uber processed/produced shows plain suck (ouch truth). I can hardly watch most the shows on here anymore, it seems like people quickly have become full of themselves and egocentric not realizing the entire purpose is to create content for people by being a person of the people. Not be being an elitist jerk. Overall the cost per episode to the actual listener numbers are disproportionate IMHO. End of story. No one cares about lame ass animations that cost way too much to create anyway – or blue screens. Aside from poor management something I like to call “George Lucas Syndrome” has gripped Revision3 – I doubt I’ll need to explain that.

2.) Trying to be “the google” of VidCasts
Instead of trying to pick up any mildly successful show (often just to ruin them anyway) – it would have made more sense to focus on the shows that you do have. Quality over quantity will always yield the best results.

Now, all this being said – I do not personally think Revision3 is a bad company by any means. I think there is room for mistakes as they are trying to pioneer this whole new media thing, which is cool but being frugal and cautious rather than being over the top would have served much better. It’s something you learn from experience, and I feel Revision3 will recover from this. It’s just too bad good people had to lose their jobs and good shows had to go while there are several other shows on (that I won’t call out) that are simply crap.

So what are other people’s thoughts?  Agree, disagree, don’t care?  Talk to me people.

I am in complete agreeance with Mr. Paul, I wrote it several weeks ago when the whole Fannie/Freddie bubble burst (even though I managed a strategy that got me a 250% gain ;-) ) – The root of everything is greed.  I am planning on doing a video podcast this weekend for the website about the economy and human nature… prepare to be pwn3d stupid noobs who don’t understand the relationship between the two.

UPDATE:  Just discovered Ron Paul is a fellow Freemason – suddenly it makes sense why he is so much smarter than his colleagues.
